Ben Shacklette is an artist exploring and interpreting the unique cultural landscapes of West Texas and Southeastern New Mexico.
He works in oils, acrylics, watercolor, and various black and white mediums.
His subjects include the regional agricultural industry, historic architecture, vernacular buildings, and the abandoned relics of time including old trucks, farm machinery, cityscapes and dwellings, and grain elevators and cotton gins.
